I knew it when I saw your eyes,
That flustered look upon your face,
I knew we were connected,
In life, time, or space.

It started pretty rough,
The walls were built up high,
But through determination,
Our love will never die.

On that very special night,

I was scared and confused,
But it’s a night I’d never miss.

And through your fortitude,
We scaled the uphill slope.

A lot of things have changed since then,

The branches spread out wide,
